This item is great for extending scope rail off to the side for additional accessories; ideal for standard rifles where you have limited rail space. This will extend a mounting point out from under the scope to the left or right side. Comes complete with rail, new barrel clamp, screws, and dovetail clip, this will also allow for mounting the rail to a standard M1A with slight modification to the hand guard. A radius is milled down the center of the rail, this will allow for the use of the iron sights while still mounted to the weapon.

This accessory rail will allow you to have more options when mounting optics to the weapon, allowing you to get the proper Eye Relief on the optic of your choice. This rail mounts over the front OEM sling swivel, just remove stock rivets, mount original front sling swivel between rail and stock, fasten with washers and screws provided in kit. Machined from a solid billet of T6 Aluminum. This rail is a direct replacement to the factory OEM rail.

I want a or power scope illuminated reticule, etched cross hairs positive engagement clicking feel for elevation and windage. Also want a quick detach set up in order to switch to irons easily. I also would like it to have long eye relief preferably on the existing scout mount on my rifle but if i need to get a new hand guard and move the scope back then i will.

For what it's worth, the Ultimak rail is the lowest made. The top of the rail is actually lower than the rifle's receiver ring. I have an ultimak, and it is a great piece, for sure.

Very low, rock solid, effectice rail. I'll play devils advocate and hype a brand that isn't being represented. I do not have one on my rifle, I do like them, but since I have a med weight barrel I cannot use it. These are made by amega ranges and are also available badge marketed thru fulton.
